The 1995-96 Chicago Bulls seemed on the verge of going 15-1 in the playoffs before a couple of hiccups during Games Four and Five in Seattle during the NBA Finals.
Ultimately, Chicago finished 15-3 during the 1996 NBA Playoffs, including two sweeps (against Miami in the first round and against Orlando in the Eastern Conference Finals), a five-game victory (against New York in the second-round), and a six-game triumph (against Seattle in the NBA Finals).

After two years of the NBA title residing in Houston, Texas, the Chicago Bulls returned to where they belonged, as the 1996 NBA champions, Jordan officially completed his first return to professional basketball, and eighth-grade me greatly appreciated this most memorable season.

A year after Jordan's late-season return was ruined by a six-game loss to the Orlando Magic during the second round of the 1995 NBA Playoffs, Chicago exacted its revenge during the 1996 Eastern Conference Finals, completing an unexpected sweep with a dominating fourth quarter during a Game Four victory in Orlando.
Most Impressive Clincher: 1996 First Round, Game Three
Chicago Bulls 112, Miami Heat 91
Chicago hardly blinked as Miami got off to a fast start, controlling this game with relative ease behind a brilliant all-around game from Scottie Pippen to move on to the second round.
Most Relieving Clincher: 1996 Second Round, Game Five
Chicago Bulls 94, New York Knicks 81
Pippen hit it on the head after finishing off the always tough Knicks, saying "It wasn't a pretty series" and "We haven't played up to our potential." All five games were fairly close, as expected between these Eastern Conference Finals, and a deep breath was necessary whenever Chicago survived the physical Knicks in one piece, with Game Five a bit of a sleeper. Ultimately, Chicago was the better team when these games mattered most, during the fourth quarters.
