Enjoy from my personal collection of NCAA Tournament games. Relieve George Mason's remarkable run to the Final Four with this thrilling first-round game against the Michigan State Spartans, a team that I had made the Final Four the previous season and returned most of that squad. I remember watching this game on a Friday night after a long week working a job that was just a paycheck and rooting for the Spartans, which was a team I respected because of Head Coach Tom Izzo. However, as this game kept going, I started turning for the Patriots, an awesome squad coached by Jim Larranaga and featuring Tony Skinn, Lamar Butler, Folarin Campbell, Jai Lewis and Will Thomas. The Patriots just wouldn't back down from the Spartans, which would eventually relent in this thrilling game that represents the beauty of the underdog in the NCAA Tournament! :-)
