Enjoy from my personal collection of NCAA Tournament games. When I was previewing the 2026 NCAA Tournament, specifically the West Region, I predicted that Wisconsin would play Arizona in the Sweet Sixteen. While that did not happen, the two programs have met four times in the NCAA Tournament, with Wisconsin winning three times, in the second round in 2000 and in the Elite Eight in 2014 and 2015. The only time Arizona beat Wisconsin in the NCAA Tournament occurred during this first round game, which I couldn't find on YouTube and vowed to upload. While I don't remember much from this game, I do recall this Arizona team playing in Maui at the start of this season. I especially liked a freshman forward on the Arizona team named Marcus Williams, who was from Seattle, Washington. During this same season, UCONN had a star point guard named Marcus Williams, who went to have a short career in the NBA. Anyways, Arizona would win this game and then hang tight in the second round against a #1 Villanova team that would reach the Elite Eight before getting knocked off my eventual national champion #3 Florida.
