Wisconsin does not get a final shot as High Point intercepts the full-court pass. It looks like Wisconsin was trying to get a two-pointer. What a finish! High Point hits 7 of its last 9 shots, and the Badgers are gone. The Big Ten is 0-2 in the tournament! What a game! Chase Johnston shot High Point to victory late while Rob Martin carried the Panthers for the first portion of the second half. The overconfident Nick Boyd is humbled! Wisconsin leads 72-70 with 3:34 remaining. The Panthers are on an 8-2 run, with a ridiculous three by Chase Johnson from just inside the halfcourt logo, and a three and layup by Terry Anderson. Wisconsin went three minutes without scoring, including misses at the rim by Boyd and Blackwell. The intensity is picking up, and the Panthers are getting the fan support of the arena. This should be a fun finish. High Point has actually gotten to the rim a lot this half, but hasn't been able to finish. Boyd is set to take two free throws. Expect him to have the ball a lot the last three minutes of the game, putting pressure on the rim. Can the Badgers hold off the Panthers?

Wisconsin leads 69-61 with 7:28 remaining. Wisconsin has found its shooting stroke from deep, with three threes during this stretch from Andrew Rohde, Rapp, and Braeden Carrington. High Point was scoreless for nearly four minutes before Martin hit a ridiculous three where he was fouled but didn't get the call. Both teams are in the bonus, with Martin set to shoot a one-and-one out of the break. Expect a lot of trips to the line the last seven minutes.
Second Half, Under-12 Live Reactions
The game is tied at 58 with 11:25 remaining. High Point guard Rob Martin, who is only 5-10, is taking over, scoring the last eight points for the Panthers. He has hit two threes and gotten to the rim several times. Wisconsin is having a hard time containing him. There is a great pace to this game. Wisconsin has missed its last four threes and is settling a bit. Nolan Winter is back for the Badgers, and has four points during this stretch, and six for the game on 3/6 shooting. Wisconsin just sat Boyd, who is doing a little too much hotdogging. That is part of Boyd's game, but he best be careful as Martin is starting to roll and arena momentum is shifting toward High Point. This should be a fun second half.

Wisconsin leads 50-46 with 15:46 remaining. I am just picking up on the game right now. From what I am hearing, it sounds like a chippy one, with Wisconsin guard Nick Boyd up to his normal tactics. Austin Rapp just hit a three, evoking memories of his amazing performance against Michigan last Saturday during the Big Ten Tournament semifinal. Jon Blackwell had 20 points in the first half and has scored once so far this half. The Badgers were up two at the half. Both teams have hit 7 threes, though Wisconsin has done so on 18 attempts compared to 25 attempts for the Panthers.
