Behind superstar Anthony Edward's 36 points, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the San Antonio Spurs 114-109 in Game Four Sunday night to even up the Western Conference second-round series at two games apiece.
Of course, the headline coming out of this game was the ejection of Spurs' star forward Victor Wembanyama, who hit Minnesota's Naz Reid with a vicious elbow during the second quarter. Here is the video.

It shall be interesting to see if the NBA suspends Wembanyama for Game Five. I would be shocked if that happens as Wemby is too big of a superstar, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has no backbone, and the Spurs seem to get away with these things.
I'll never forget San Antonio's Robert Horry hip checking the Phoenix Suns' Steve Nash into the table way back during the 2007 NBA Playoffs. While Horry was suspended for his cheap shot, so was Phoenix superstar Amare Stoudemire for stepping off the bench. The ejections ultimately hurt the Suns more than the Spurs, which won the second-round series in six games en route to the title that postseason.

As for the Illini on the Timberwolves, Ayo Dosunmu returned to the starting lineup in Game 4, replacing Mike Conley Jr. Dosunmu had 10 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in just over 30 minutes. Off the bench, Terrence Shannon Jr. scored 8 points and added 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in just under 20 minutes.
Both Dosunmu and Shannon Jr. struggled from the field, with each going 3-for-12. Shannon was 0-for-6 at halftime before hitting 50% of his shots in the second half.
Without Wembanyama, San Antonio got 24 points apiece from De'Aaron Fox and Dylan Harper while Stephon Castle added 20 points.
Game Five of the series tips off tomorrow night at 7 p.m. central time in San Antonio.
Here are the highlights of the testy Game Four between the Spurs and Wolves.
